Rich and Hearty Marinade This marinade makes for a rich, beefy flavored steak.
Prep: 5 minutes Refrigerate: 2 hours to overnight Servings: Marinade for up to 2 lbs. steak

Tbsp. Roquefort or blue cheese

Tbsp. soy sauce
1
Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1
Tbsp. (heaping) powdered instant coffee
1
large clove garlic, finely chopped
1
tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
1
tsp. salt

Tbsp. vegetable oil (optional)
Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor fitted with a steel blade until blended.
Reserve 2 Tbsp. of the marinade for basting if desired.
Place you choice of steak in a sealable plastic bag, pour marinade over steak and rub mixture into meat. Seal well and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight, turning bag occasionally.
