Caribbean Jerk Beef Steak
Don't worry, with the taste of the islands, you'll be happy!
 
Prep: 10 minutes
Refrigerate: 30 minutes to 4 hours
Cook: 20 minutes
Servings: Serves 4

1 1/2 lbs. sirloin steak
3/4 cup bottled Italian dressing
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
1 tsp. ground allspice

 
Caribbean Jerk Beef Steak
 
Combine all ingredients, except steak. Place steak in sealable plastic bag. Add 1/2 cup marinade, seal, and refrigerate 30 minutes to 4 hours, turning accasionally. Refrigerate remaining marinade in separate container.
Remove steak from marinade (and discard marinade). Grill over medium-high coals, brushing often with reserved marinade, until steak reaches 140°F internal temperature for medium-rare, or to desired doneness, approximately 16-18 minutes.
Remove steak from grill and slice into 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices.
