Cranberry-Jalapeno Sauce
The perfect heart healthy topping for Roasted Sirloin.
 
Prep: 10 minutes

1 cup fresh cranberries
-- juice of half an orange
1/3 cup sugar
1 7 ounce jar roasted red peppers, diced
1 small jalapeno, seeded and finely diced
3 Tbsp. cilantro, chopped
-- zest of half a lime
-- zest of half an orange

 
Cranberry-Jalapeno Sauce
 
Blend cranberries, juice and sugar in food processor for 30-45 seconds. Transfer to saute pan and add remaining ingredients. Stir.
Let ingredients stand at least 30 minutes for flavors to blend.
Warm sauce over low heat before serving. Do not boil. Salt to taste.
